Incident at Gramsh Military Base, Testimonies of Three Suspects Revealed
The testimony of the two Russians and the Ukrainian who tried to enter the military base in Gramsh on Saturday evening is revealed.
33-year-old Svetlana Timofoeva, with a Russian passport, 23-year-old Mikhail Zorin with a Russian passport, and another young man with a Ukrainian passport were arrested by the Albanian authorities on Saturday evening after the incident at the Arms Processing Plant in Gramsh.
They told the police that they were photographers and that they had a blog page where they mainly advertised photos and videos of former military bases of the Soviet Union.
They have said that they mainly photographed military territories that are abandoned and no longer used by the state. They also showed that they photographed underground bunkers and tunnels, as well as factory sites, abandoned territories.
The Gramshi Police informed that the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Elbasan Judicial District, is continuing the work to clarify the circumstances of the event and its legal documentation and that the Criminal Police Department and the Anti-Terror Directorate of the State Police have engaged for this event, adding that actions are being coordinated with the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
