Arsida Demiri, the 19-year-old who was injured in the serious road accident on the Gjirokastër–Tepelenë highway, has been transferred to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for specialized medical treatment.

Sources told the media that she is currently being treated in the Emergency Department, where she remains under close observation. Doctors have reported that the young woman is in serious health condition, but with stable vital parameters, and is being kept under intensive monitoring.

Due to the multiple traumatic injuries (polytrauma) she sustained, Arsida Demiri is not yet considered out of danger, as her condition may change depending on the evolution of her severe injuries.

Medical consultations are ongoing, and urgent consultations with a cardiologist and a urologist have been requested as part of her treatment plan.
