The Interior Minister, Ervin Hoxha reacted this Tuesday over the protest of the opposition in Parliament where chairs were burned autside of the main building.

In a reaction in the social media, minister said that the case will be referred at the Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK).

"The fire at the doors of the Parliament of Albania, which is the highest temple of a democratic system, are an act that desecrates the feelings of the citizens of this country. The Assembly remains the essence of the expression of the will and faith of the voters, so any act of vandalism inside or at its doors is absolutely unacceptable and punishable by law.

The State Police and the Guard of the Republic have immediately carried out all procedural actions, administering the footage and any other element of interest to the investigation. At the end of these actions, the event will be referred to the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK), due to the special qualities that deputies have," said Minister.
