Fatbardh Kadilli, who has announced his candidacy for the leader of the Democratic Party, has revealed some of the points on which his program for leading this party is based.

At a press conference, Kadilli spoke of an open DP that is not hostage to the chairman. According to him, if he takes over the leadership of the DP, the mandate of the chairman will end on election day, as he will either become prime minister or resign.

"Let’s end a policy that reproduces in our party the model of the twentieth century. I want to apologize to every member of the DP because the short time available made it impossible for me as a candidate who challenged the swamp calm to step on and meet the Democrats. The victory round has no calendar on the 13th. Date 13 is a victory within the DP and then it will continue with removal of Edi Rama.

I swore to a party bigger than the chairman. The chairman is the leader for 4 years, and he either becomes the prime minister, or he leaves. The administration of the party will have to be done by a ‘Council of Wise Men’ that goes beyond the mandate of the chairman and secures elections within the structure.

The principle 'One member, one vote' for the election of each chairman, from the section to the simplest member. This will be done at least one year before the election deadlines.
