State Police has arrested this Wednesday evening Dan Hutra, who killed three women and injured three others during the day. 

Police has shared photos from the moment of the arrest, where the weapon used for the murders can be seen.

Dan Hutra is the suspected perpetrator of three murders and three injuries in Tirana, all of them women. 

Firstly he stabbed Mariana Gurakaqi in the area of Astir, who fortunately is out of danger for life. Then he went to the house of former cohabitant, killing her sister Mevlute Hysa, 30-year-old, and the sister-in-law Hasime Dafku 30-year-old, as well as injuring the former cohabitant Elena Hysa, 35-year-old and the former mother-in-law Kujtime Hysa 60-year-old. 

After this grave episode he is suspected to have travelled to the house of Etleva Kurti, 31-year-old, shooting her with Kalashnikov, who unfortunately died as a consequence. Etleva Kurti is the sister of Vladimir Kurti, a man who is in life imprisonment for the murder of Agim Buci in 2018, in the area of Kamza. 

Then he left, trying to hide from the police. But all forces were sent to the ground, and fortunately he was arrested in the Sharra area. 

Dan Hutra is a man with previous criminal record. in 2003 he served to years in prison for raping the sister-in-law. In 2007 he stabbed to death his cohabitant, Dafina Havalja, and tried to make it look like a suicide. He was sentenced to 24 years in 2009 but due to the shortened trial his sentence was reduced to 14 years. In July 2022, he was again arrested for domestic violence against his former cohabitant Elena Hysa. He was released in January 2023.
