A police officer died this Wednesday  around 12:30 in an accident on the Mitrovica-Zveçan road.

The news was confirmed by the deputy director of the Kosovo Police for the North Mitrovica region, Besim Hoti.

He said that the victim was in an official car, but was off duty at the time of the accident.
