Traffic on the Librazhd–Qafë Thanë road has been completely blocked in both directions after a landslide involving soil and rocks fell from a mountainside in the area known as Dragostunjë.

As a result of the blockage, thousands of vehicles have been left stranded on the road.

Traffic Police services said officers are present at the scene and are working in cooperation with the road maintenance contractor to clear the road as quickly as possible and restore vehicle movement.

Elbasan Traffic Police have urged all drivers traveling toward Korçë and in the opposite direction to avoid using the route until further notice and the reopening of the road is officially announced.
