Local Polls’ Second Round Campaign Resumes for 21 Communes in Kosovo
Pre-election campaign for the second round of local elections, which will be held on November 14, officially starts this Monday, and it will continue for five days: from November 8 to 12.
In the second round of elections, voting will take place in 21 municipalities, including Prishtina, Prizren, Gjilan, Gjakova, Podujeva, Drenas, Kaçanik, Istog, Dragash, Fushë Kosovë, Obiliq, Klina, Kamenica, Rahovec, Junik, Vitina, Malisheva. Vushtrri, Shtime, Kllokot and Mamusha.
Also, Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV) will compete in the second round in 12 municipalities: Prishtina, Prizren, Gjilan, Shtime, Gjakova, Rahovec, Fushë Kosovë, Podujevë, Kaçanik, Obiliq, Viti and Kamenica.
For its part, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will be competing in nine municipalities: Pristina, Gjilan, Viti, Vushtrri, Istog, Fushë Kosovë, Dargash, Podujevë and Junik.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is running in the second round in eight municipalities: Drenas, Kaçanik, Shtime, Vushtrri, Malisheva, Prizren, Dragash and Klina. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) competes in five municipalities: Gjakova, Klina, Rahovec, Junik and Istog. Whereas, the NISMA Social Democratic party will be in the runoff only in the Municipality of Malisheva.
