Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha together with his wife Aurela Basha have paid homage in honor of late socialist MP, Bashkim Fino. 

They were photographed climbing the stairs to the Palace of Congresses, where numerous politicians despite their views paid tribute to the late socialist MP who died this Monday due to coronavirus.

Bashkim Fino passed away this morning at the age of 58. He has a long political career in the Socialist Party. From 1997 onwards he is a member of the Steering Committee of the Socialist Party. The peak of his career would be marked in 1997 when he would be elected Prime Minister of the country in the government of National Reconciliation, a position he would hold from March to July. 

Mr. Fino has held several ministerial posts. From 1997 to 1998 he served as Minister of Local Government, at the same time Deputy Prime Minister. In 1999 until 2001 he would be the Minister of Local Government. During the years 2001-2002, he was Minister of Public Works and Tourism. While in 2004, Minister of Territorial Regulation and Tourism.
