Lulzim Basha, who is runnig for the new head of the Democratic Party (DP), cast his vote this Saturday in the offices of branch no. 8, as he saluted his fellow citizens with two fingers. 

During his speech, Basha said that this day is special due to the circumstances, while he called on the democrats to vote. 

"I want to express my gratitude to the thousands of democrats who went to the ballot boxes, on this day of special significance, due to the circumstances, unique to the DP. We have faced challenges like these. Those thousands of Democrats have faced great challenges. They continue to stand united for the causes and values that unite them. 

This mass exit, for which in the morning I received hundreds of messages, accompanied by images, to decide that through their vote today, we will restart a revival of the DP, not only for the democrats, but for every Albanian, with the hope of Albania and God", said Basha.
