Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, during his visit to Prague, met the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko. 

In a post on social networks, Veliaj writes that he congratulated his Ukrainian counterpart for the courage shown, while he assured him that the support of Prime Minister Rama and the Albanian government in the Security Council as well as in NATO will not be lacking. 

"I congratulated my friend, Vitali Klitschko, for his courage and bravery against the brutal Russian attack. I assured him that Edi Rama and the Albanian government will continue to be their staunch supporters in the UN Security Council and NATO. The municipality of Tirana will continue to help the sister cities in Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens in Albania", underlines Veliaj. 

The meeting took place in Prague, Czech Republic, where the Cities Summit was held.
