Minister Alarmed about Coup D'etat Plan in Albanian Airport
Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, has declared this Wednesday that the suspension of work of air controllers is a coup d'etat attempt.
Minister spoke in a press conference after meeting with 60 air controllers who have been on strike since Tuesday evening and not reaching an agreement. The Minister blames former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for this suspension of work.
Among other things, the Minister emphasized that this is an attempt to block the coming of other doses of vaccines, which were expected to come today in Albania, while she added that this is intentionally done in order to tarnish Albania's image around the world in the framework of the electoral campaign.
"Despite the fact that they have chosen this way to operate, this is a pure strike in violation of the Labor Code, because they all justified themselves at the same time, declaring incompetence. I understand Sali Berisha, because all this is a real political organization, in a moment of campaigning. Due to the election campaign and due to all the political schemes that are being applied, vaccines will not be able to arrive at Rinas airport today, which will come this afternoon. Today at Rinas Airport, because of this campaign, within the electoral campaign to blacken the face of Albania, to tarnish the image, something else is happening, the whole society is being affected.
Today if someone who is sick, and has to go home, can not come back, that the controllers are upset that their salary is 2 thousand 490 dollars. One who has died will be buried here, because he does not want Sali Berisha, who has used extremely harsh language, always rejoicing in the problems he encounters. Great wonder how it feeds on this thing. Especially for misinformation and slander and fraud, digital citizen, digital controller. Should the country be held hostage? This is a coup, by some people who are dissatisfied with the salary of USD 2.490", said Balluku.
