Mitrush Kuteli's Daughter Passes Away at 71

Atalanta Pasko, daughter of Mitrush Kuteli, passed away at the age of 71. The film editor has passed away after a serious illness. 

Editing director at "Kinostudio", she was born on April 23, 1951 in Tirana, where she completed secondary school. In 1970, Pasko started working at Kinostudio "Shqipëria e Re" in the editing department. 

After a short specialization, Pasko edited the first documentary films "The Donors of Life" and "Hygiene", both directed by Mit`hat Fagut. 

Parallel to work, Pasko continued his correspondence studies for Language and Literature, learning French and Italian. Her first feature film as an editing director was "At the beginning of summer" (1975), which won the first prize at the first Albanian Film Festival. 

Then she edited more than 20 feature films that stand out for their functional editing and high quality: "General gramophone" (1978); "The bride and the curfew" (1978); "Radio station" (1979); "Apasionata" (1983), for which she was awarded a component prize at the 6th Albanian Artistic Film Festival in October 1985; "Green Field, Red Field (1984); "The train leaves at seven to five" (1989); "Pirate's Cave" (1991) etc.
