Dan Hutra, sentenced to life for the murder of three women, tried to escape from Fier prison on Thursday (January 4). 

It is learned that the criminal plan to escape from prison was coordinated and in collaboration with three other detainees, namely Martin Kapllani, Geraldo Veizi and Feti Kovaçi, accused of theft. 

In the room where they were accommodated, the detainees had started cutting the window frame with improvised tools. 

In Dan Hutra's room, it was learned that means of escape were hidden, specifically: a sheet adapted as a rope and improvised cutting tools. 

We remember that Hutra was arrested last year, after he committed the triple massacre, where he executed 3 women and wounded 3 others in different areas of Tirana. 

The 40-year-old was not an unknown name to the police. Before the massacre of March 1, where his former partner was among the victims, he was convicted for an incident in 2007. 

Specifically, the murder of his wife, an event that happened in the city of Kukës. For all these events, Hutra himself has not shown any remorse, and even stated that he did them consciously.
