The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, spoke at the joint conference with President Bajram of the Republic, Bajram Begaj about standing side by side with Albania. He stated that NATO is committed to Albania's security, mentioning last year's cyber attacks and the investment in the Kuçova airbase. 

"NATO is committed to Albania. Allies were with you after last year's cyberattacks. We are investing in the Kuçova airbase that will increase the security of your airspace. Putin is undertaking new offensives. 

Allies are increasing their support and I welcome Albania's commitments to support Ukraine. We also discussed NATO's position in the Western Balkans. 

We talked about increasing support for Bosnia and Herzegovina. We discussed the progress made in the talks between Belgrade and Pristina. NATO remains committed to stability in the Western Balkans", he declared.
