The house of the Albanian music icon, Vaçe Zela, has not been spared by the thieves in the capital, who have managed to get the medal awarded to her by the President of the Republic. 

The incident is suspected to have happened over the weekend, but since no one lived there, it is not known the exact time. The raid was ascertained by the sister of the queen of the song, who occasionally took care of the house located in a building near the "New Bazaar", in Tirana. 

When she tried to open the door with the key, she saw that it was actually open and when she entered she found everything upside down. At this moment she called the Police and the services of Commissariat no. 1 immediately went to the scene. 

At least so far, from the verifications carried out at home, it turns out that a laptop, the watch of Veçe Zela's husband, as well as a decoration, are missing. Forensic experts have fixed some evidence at the scene, fingerprints and hair, which are being analyzed in the forensic laboratory, to arrive at any possible perpetrators' names. 

As for how the perpetrators penetrated inside the house, sources say the door is suspected to have been opened with a card, as it was not locked. Sources from the Tirana Police said yesterday that the perpetrators who stole the house of the singer Vaçe Zela in Tirana, who passed away in February 2014 in Switzerland, where she lived with her daughter, have not yet been identified. 

Among the stolen items that the perpetrators managed to get is a decoration given to the singer by the President of the Republic. The singer's sister, the citizen with the initials F.Z., noticed the theft as soon as she put the key in the door and realized that the door was open. 

"At around 19:45 I went home as usual and noticed that the door was not locked, but it opened immediately as soon as I touched it. I went inside and saw a mess, their clothes had been thrown on the ground, so I immediately informed the neighbor upstairs who called the Police", said the singer's sister. 

The same sources said that as soon as they were informed about the event, the nearest patrol went near the apartment where Vaçe Zela lived, while later forensic experts arrived at the scene.
