Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi, is expected to hold a meeting this Wednesday with the directors of the Police in the districts and the directors of the departments, which will start at 16:00. 

In this meeting, the new General Director of the State Police is expected to be introduced after the dismissal of Gladis Nanos. 

Muhamet Rrumbullaku is expected to be appointed head of the State Police.

On August 31, Gledis Nano was dismissed from the position of State Police's General Director. 

State Police was temporarily led by Deputy Director, Tonin Vocaj. 

Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi declared that "the government made a decision to dismiss the Director General of the Police, Gladis Nano". 

"He did not achieve the objectives", said Minister Çuçi at the time.
