Five people were injured in North Macedonia in a road accident as a result of the collision of three cars. 

The incident happened on the Tetovo-Gostivar highway. The injured have been sent to the Gostivar hospital and are being kept under the care of doctors. 

"On the Tetovë-Gostivar highway there was an accident in which three cars took part: 'seat leon' with Gostivar license plates and 'Volkswagen' and 'fiat' with Tetova license plates. In the accident, a total of five people were injured, who were immediately sent to the Gostivar General Hospital 'Ferid Murat' for the provision of medical assistance," the police announced. 

The investigative authorities have carried out verifications at the accident site and are working to clarify the causes.
