Notorious Murderer Behar Bajri to Remain in Prison

The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) has left in force the security measure "prison arrest" for Behar Bajri, accused of 7 criminal offences.

According to the prosecution, Behar Bajri is accused of organizing the murder of Gjin Ndoj, wounding Tauland Pepaj and planning several other assassinations.

In the session held behind closed doors, judge Atalanta Zeqiraj accepted the request of two prosecutors, Altin Dumani and Arben Kraja, that Behar Bajri should continue with coercive measures in prison.

Bajri was detained in Strasbourg during an operation between Albania and France. He was extradited the day before, on November 16, under tight security.
