Investigations into the November 26 earthquake in Durres have finished. The Prosecution has closed the investigation and the file has been transferred to the Court of Durres for trial.

The case file has been sent for trial for 16 persons, former officials, while the case for 2 others has been dismissed.

Specifically, the prosecution sent them for trial in function of the criminal case no. 2466, year 2019, while the defendants are as follows:

As a result of the tragic earthquake, a considerable number of apartments and other facilities were damaged, as well as 23 people lost their lives in Durres.
