Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared that the number of German tourists has doubled in Albania. 

According to Ramë's post on Facebook, Albania was visited by 100,000 tourists in the January-July period, compared to 52,000 in the same period last year. 

"Over 100,000 German tourists have visited our country in these seven months, compared to 52,000 in the same period last year. The German media follow the good tradition of promoting Albania, where this time the giant "Die Zeit" dedicates an article to the Albanian Riviera, flora and fauna", writes the prime minister, alongside an article from the German newspaper. 

Thus, yesterday Rama declared that the number of French tourists has doubled during the January-July period compared to a year ago. "38,915 French tourists have visited Albania from January to July, twice as many as last year 19,184", declared Rama.
