Over 4.800 Families to Benefit Grants for Quake Damages’ Repair

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced Monday that 4.810 families will benefit directly from the payment of grants for repairing damages caused to their houses by the earthquake.

The Head of Government informed that the distribution of grants has launched and will cover repair costs for November 26 tremor in Lezha, Kruja and Kurbin Municipality. Moreover, the Premier stressed that the government will pay one by one all residents, for the mending and a total sum of about ALL 8 billion or USD 80 million have been put at disposal for this.

“The giving of grants for the personal repair of dwellings in Lezha, Kruja and Kurbin municipalities, which were partially damaged by the November 26 earthquake, has started.

There are 4810 families that directly benefit in these municipalities the payments of grants for the repair of house damages.

The government will pay one on one all the residents, for the repairs of the earthquake damage, in a total amount of nearly ALL 8 billion or USD 80 million”, said Rama.
