Over 5k Albanians Enter from Greece to Celebrate Easter

The Easter holiday, as every year, has brought home a large number of Albanian emigrants from Greece.

During the last 24 hours, 5866 people have entered from the customs point of Kapshtica. Despite the high influx at the entrance of the Albanian territory, the processing of documentation of citizens and vehicles was done without delay by the police of both countries.

The Easter holiday is used by emigrants to return to their families for celebrations. Significantly lower was the influx of Albanian citizens who traveled to Greece to celebrate Easter. In the last 24 hours, 1893 citizens have left Kapshtica and it is expected that the flow of cross-border movements will continue during the weekend.
