Prime Minister Edi Rama has conveyed his condolences to the families of this Monday's Turkey Earthquake's victims, adding that a rescue mission will depart from Albania.

On a social media statement, the Head of Albanian Government expressed deep sadness for the natural catastrophe.

"Deeply saddened about this morning news on the devastating earthquake hitting parts of Türkiye and Syria. Our deepest condolences to the many families that lost lives and wishing a fast recovery of the injured. A rescue mission of solidarity will depart today for Türkiye", tweeted PM Rama.
