Prime Minister Rama received Canada's Foreign Minister, Melanie Joly, in a meeting at the PM's Office. 

Visit of Minister Mélanie Joly to Albania proves the intensification of exchanges and high-level political dialogue between the two countries. 

"It was a pleasure to welcome Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly, today", said PM Rama. 

However, Albania-Canada political and diplomatic relations have developed even more during these years, with a direct impact on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest. 

Both countries share common values and as NATO allies are committed to maintaining peace and security at the regional and international level. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs visited Albania at a time when the role and contribution of Canada in the international arena has increased significantly, where the active role of Minister Joly stands out, and when Albania has been serving as a non-permanent member country for more than a year and a half of the UN Security Council.
