Prime Minister Edi Rama is set to convene an expanded meeting of the ruling Socialist Party’s parliamentary group and the government cabinet on Friday, according to a message sent to Socialist lawmakers.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. local time at the Palace of Brigades in Tirana.

A message circulated to members of the Socialist parliamentary group informed lawmakers of the gathering, stating: “Dear colleagues, I would like to inform you that on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., the Expanded Group Meeting will take place at the Palace of Brigades. The meeting agenda will be sent to you shortly.”

The agenda for the meeting has not yet been made public.

The gathering comes roughly one month after the Socialist Party’s previous expanded meeting, as the ruling party prepares to discuss its political and governing priorities.
