Powerful Earthquakes Shake Greece

Above-four-magnitude earthquakes shook the region of Evia in Greece around 6:32 am of this Tuesday morning, although the tremors were also felt in Attica. 

According to the Geodynamic Institute, first earthquake occurred shortly after 6:30 am on Tuesday and was felt especially in Attica. 

It had a 4.8 Richter scale magnitude and its epicenter was Evia, while it happened at 6:32 with a center 9 km southeast of the Zarake area. 

This earthquake had a focal depth of only 13.3 km and was therefore particularly felt in some areas. 

A few minutes after the 4.8 Richter earthquake, a 3.2 Richter earthquake centered in the same area followed. 

Fortunately, so far there are no reports of material damage or injured persons.
