President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta has praised with high titles the football team K.S. Besa of Kavaja and some of its former footballers. 

Among the former footballers who were awarded the "Grand Master" title are Alush Merhori, Muharrem Kariqi, Dashnor Bajaziti, Naim Aliaj and Altin Rraklli. 

While the Besa Team was awarded the title "Knight of the Order of the Flag", the President described the club as a team with a big name and the cradle of talented footballers.

"The President of the Republic Ilir Meta praised through a solemn ceremony the sports club "Besa" as well as five prominent football players of the Kavaja team and the Albanian National Team. 

The Head of State honored with the title "Knight of the Order of the Flag" the football team "Besa", with the motivation 'For the contribution and dignified representation of Albanian football. Cradle of great football talents with excellent results in the national and international arena'," announced the President.
