President Receives New Japanese Ambassador to Albania
President of the Republic, Ilir Meta received this Thursday in a meeting the new Ambassador of Japan in Tirana, Takada Mitsuyuki, on the occasion of the presentation of Letters of Credence.
President Meta congratulated Ambassador Mitsuyuki on his assignment and assured him of support in successfully fulfilling his mission in Albania.
The Head of State expressed confidence that the extensive experience of Mr. Mitsuyuki will serve for the very good political relations between Albania and Japan to recognize new developments in the economic and trade fields, especially in the increase of exchanges in the field of tourism.
President Meta expressed gratitude to the new Ambassador of Japan for the attention that Japan has paid to relations with Albania, as well as for the valuable technical and financial support and assistance provided over the years, especially in addressing the consequences of last November's earthquake, as well as for coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.
President Meta conveyed greetings and thanks to Emperor Naruhito and the Government of Japan for the warm and friendly hospitality reserved during his visit to Japan on the occasion of the coronation of the new Emperor of Japan, as well as for the fruitful meetings held there with The Emperor and the Prime Minister.
