Protesters Arrested, Re-establishment Commission Goes to Police Station

The Re-establishment Commission has gone last tonight to Police Station number 1 in Tirana, where dozens of protesters are being held who took part in the protest called by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for the removal of Lulzim Basha.

Speaking outside the police station, MP Flamur Noka called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to stop playing games and trying to be both prime minister and chairman of the opposition, as he can not take the opposition hostage.

Flamur Noka also stated that like never before, democrat protesters, who are being held in the police stations, are facing 6 offenses which according to him is done by order of Edi Rama, at the request of Lulzim Basha.

"For the sole fault because they have gone, knocked and opened the doors of their house. This is the only fault. Edi Rama, determined to appoint the opposition, used violence on the Democrats because the hostage must be kept there as a prisoner and the Democrats must be stopped from being in opposition, according to him. There is nothing more painful than when these Democrats have seen the house turned into a bunker. The revolt has made them do everything to get into their house. There is no Edi Rama and no hostage to stop them from entering their house. Edi Rama today with the criminal action tried to show that he is both prime minister and chairman of the opposition. Democrats will not allow it. I urge them to stop the games by arresting Democrats who go to their house. The doors and windows they found closed have been opened and this is not to blame. There can be no controlled democracy in Albania, there can be no appointed opposition. In Albania, the opposition does not accept Edi Rama holding them hostage. 6 charges were read against protesters. Why? Because they disturb the peace of the regime's hostage. The latter cried to the regime and the regime raises 6 charges. Rama put the bandits inside the headquarters defending the hostage. Why the state arrest and imprison free Democrats and did not enter to control armed gangs. We need you, hostage, there for us to reign on the other side — that was the message. Nothing will stop us from turning it into a house of freedom as it once was," declared Noka.
