Road Traffic Security, Tirana Police Arrests Seven Drivers
Road police of Tirana have arrested during the night seven drivers for drunk driving or driving without a license. Road Police continued during the night, radar controls on the interurban road Tirana-Elbasan and Durrës-Tirana to find and punish drivers who don't obey road traffic rules.
During these controls, 14-speed cases were observed beyond the allowed rates ranging from 133 km / h to 154 km / h, where one resident in Germany, moving with 138 km / h, did not obey the order to stop. Also, 19 cases were found at 115 km / h up to 127 km / h, where vehicle drivers were punished with administrative measures from ALL 6,000 to ALL 12,000 each, informed the police. On the other hand, 12 driving licenses were suspended as drivers were found drunk.
