Serbia Helps Albania with 30.000 Tons of Wheat in Crisis

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçiç has informed Thursday that his government has decided to send 30.000 tons of wheat to Albania, which is facing the crisis of rising prices due to the war in Ukraine.

In his speech, Vuçiç said that he would make an exception to the decision to export wheat and that 30 thousand tons of wheat and a smaller amount of corn will be sent to Albania.

"We are safe even if we do not have a harvest and with that harvest we can offer a lot for the region and beyond. Russia and Ukraine are the second and fourth largest producers of wheat in the world. We will seek to help traders, the price is good. It grows, it is stable for a few days, then it starts growing again”, stated Vuçiç.

Moreover, the Serbian President stressed that Serbian citizens will not miss anything as they will order everything they need.
