The Hellenic Business Association of Albania (HBAA) held its annual SOIRÉE 2026, bringing together members, partners and friends, as well as prominent representatives from the business, institutional and diplomatic communities.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Greece to Albania, ?.? Elina Komini; Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms. Marinela Prifti; Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Tedi Dobi; and Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr.  Endrit Yzeiraj, as well as Members of the Albanian Parliament, representatives of institutions and the diplomatic community, and leading figures from Greek and Albanian business.

In his welcoming remarks, Denald George Tafani, President of the Hellenic Business Association of Albania, reflected on the nearly three decades of Greek business presence in Albania — three decades of investment, employment, cooperation and shared progress with the Albanian economy.

“We do not see ourselves simply as foreign investors in Albania. We are part of the country’s economic life, and we want to be active contributors to its progress,” Tafani said.

He also highlighted the Association’s vision to remain open, active and, above all, useful, bringing together people, ideas and partnerships while creating opportunities for meaningful cooperation.

Looking ahead, Tafani underlined the potential for Greek businesses and institutions to share their experience and know-how gained through decades of operating within the European Union, particularly as Albania advances on its European path.

In her address, Ambassador Elina Komini acknowledged the Association’s continued efforts and the progress of its members within Albania’s business environment. She also referred to the close cooperation with the Greek Embassy and to the opportunities ahead for further productive initiatives and exchanges.

Beyond its institutional character, SOIRÉE 2026 reflected the spirit of the Association itself: bringing people together, encouraging dialogue and creating space for new relationships and partnerships to grow.

Over the years, SOIRÉE has become an established annual gathering for HBAA and its wider community, reflecting the Association’s commitment to dialogue, cooperation and stronger business relations between Greece and Albania.

HBAA extended its appreciation to all members, partners, guests and institutional representatives whose presence contributed to the success of SOIRÉE 2026.
