Candidate of Socialist Party (SP), Edison Memolla has won this Monday the elections for the Municipality of Rrogozhina.

In this re-vote, Memolla managed to defeat the rival from the "Together We Win" coalition, Shkëlqim Hoxha.

In the May 14 election, SP won by a narrow margin of 30 votes, but the opposition complained that this result was overturned by the vote of prisoners in this town, who were not residents of Rrogozhina.

On its part, the Electoral College accepted this argument, while ordering a repeat of the elections.

Yesterday, the SP candidate expressed his confidence in victory and his conviction has already been confirmed by counting all the boxes.

"We are not at risk at all, because we have worked and received messages from the first time and this time we are respecting and fixing all the defects we had.

We don't deal with the opponent, I deal with myself, the opponent should deal with himself", said Memolla after voting.
