Police and RENEA have conducted controls in Elbasan to apprehend wanted persons in the framework of the operation codenamed "Golden Bullet", which was conducted by SPAK (Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime) a few days ago. 

Police forces were seen during the morning and in the noon in Elbasan, exercising detailed controls. 

We recall that the operation undertaken by SPAK hit 8 criminal groups in Elbasan, Durrës and Tirana. The operation in question came immediately after the arrest of the highly wanted Nuredin Dumani, who was caught during the police operation in Fier. 

Dumani is said to be the "key" man for SPAK who has led to the shedding of light on many criminal events that took place in Albania. Nuredin Dumani is charged with numerous wrongdoings, one of which is that of a paid killer. 

It is suspected that Dumani was contacted by criminal groups and for large sums of money carried out physical eliminations of opponents. Exactly such an assassination he would carry out on March 29 in Elbasan. But something did not go according to plan and he got wounded. 

It was rumoured at the event that Dumani fell into the ambush of his former close friend Talo Çela, however this was never officially confirmed. After this event, Dumani managed to go as far as Fier, but then he was handcuffed together with Henrik Hoxhaj, a name also involved in several criminal events.
