Special Forces in Action, 145 Albanians Arrested

State Police arrested 145 people during the last week, for various criminal offenses committed in all regions of the country.

In fact, during the past week, the FNSH and RENEA special forces have landed in almost all the main cities in the country.

These Blic operations were mainly focused on the capture of persons circulating with firearms, or those declared wanted. As for the second category, there are 15 arrested, two of whom wanted internationally.

Two of the most important operations of the week we left behind are that of Durres and that of London.
In Durrës, a criminal group that committed paid murders was destroyed, within which 15 people were imprisoned and 5 others were declared wanted.

While in London, a young Albanian was released, taken hostage by 7 compatriots, who were asking his family to pay a debt of 400,000 euros. 7 hostage takers were arrested.

Regarding the work to crack down on the illegal activity of selling or cultivating narcotics, the Police informs that a total of 21 people were arrested in one week.

On the other hand, the Traffic Police suspended 763 licenses across the country and arrested 91 drivers for violating traffic rules.
