For the first time in Albania the diaspora voted and today the last vote of the Albanians abroad was counted, closing a long process.

After nine days, it can be said that the emigrants were decisive only for the ninth mandate of the socialists in Vlora district. 

In Vlora, Vasil Llajo could win a seat in Parliament due to the votes of diaspora, leaving behind the democrat Klevis Kaso. 

An impact the vote of diaspora had even in Tirana, where the vote of emigrants, was decisive for the victory of Olta Xhaçka and the removal from Parliament of Blerina Gjylameti.

The emigrants supported even Ornaldo Rakipin, leaving out Xhemal Qefalia. Same in Fier, where due to the votes of emigrants won the socialis candidate, Zegjine Çaushi,
