Three Albanian Inmates Escape Italy Prison
Three prisoners of Albanian origin escaped Treviso prison, around 5:00 on Thursday, as the local media reported this Friday.
After cutting the bars of the cell and climbing down using sheets, two of them were immediately apprehended by prison police.
The third one, who managed to escape police, a 27-year-old fugitive was detained on a European arrest warrant.
He has been charged with attempted murder, robbery, possession of explosives and other drug trafficking crimes, all committed outside Italy.
However, the information was released by Gennarino De Fazio, Secretary General of the Wilpa Prison Police.
