Former Member of Parliament, Aqif Rakipi was involved in an accident this Monday evening. The event took place near the "Air Albania" Stadium in the capital Tirana, where he collided with another car, but fortunately no one was reported injured.

It is also reported that his car ended up in a store. So far, the circumstances of how the incident took place are not known, while the police are at the scene of the accident and have launched an investigation.

Regardless, the politician Aqif Rakipi, who was previously the representative of of Party for Justice, Integration and Unity (PJIU), does not run in these elections due to problems with the decriminalization law, but his son is a candidate in the Socialist Party (SP) list.
