Tirana, Many Punished on PCR Test Results' Forgery Charges

Five people have been handcuffed, three have been prosecuted, while three others have been declared wanted for illegal border crossing and falsification of PCR laboratory tests, Tirana Police has announced Wednesday.

As part of the coded operation "Morina" were seized also suspected forged analysis sheets, a vehicle and 5 mobile phones.

Respectively, the citizen with initials B. Gj, 54 years old, was handcuffed for the criminal offense "Providing assistance for illegal border crossing".

Citizens with initials M.S., 40 years old, I. K., 24 years old, K. P., 23 years old, for the criminal offense "Forgery of documents"; B.K, 36 years old, for the criminal offenses "Providing assistance for illegal border crossing" and "Forgery of documents".

On the other hand, the citizens F. D, 40 years old, G. S, 16 years old and I. S, 15 years old, were prosecuted at large for the criminal offense "Forgery of documents".

Meanwhile, citizens I. D., 40 years old, O. Sh, 38 years old and A. E., 23 years old, were declared wanted for the criminal offense "Assistance in illegal border crossing"

The citizens M. S, I. K, K. P, F. D, G. S and I. S, were caught red-handed in the van driven by the citizen B. Gj, at the border point of Morina with laboratory analysis of which are suspected to be counterfeited in order to cross into Kosovo and then to EU countries.

On their part, the citizens B. Gj, I. D, O. Sh, A. E and B. K, are suspected to have provided assistance for illegal border crossing to the above mentioned citizens. Also, the citizen B. K, has performed the falsification of the laboratory analyzes of the PCR, making them in an internet point.

The police operation codenamed "Morina" is finalized, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of illegal border crossing and forgery of documents.

Operation conducted by the Police Commissariat No. 1 in cooperation with BCP Morina, under the direction of the Prosecution.

5 citizens are arrested in flagrante delicto, 3 are prosecuted and 3 others are declared wanted.

Suspected forged analysis sheets, a vehicle and 5 mobile phones were seized.

Following the work to prevent and crack down on criminal activity of forging documents and providing assistance for illegal border crossing, as a result of several weeks of work, the services of Police Station No. 1 in cooperation with BCP Morina, under the direction of The Prosecution Office has successfully organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Morina", in the framework of which the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

B.Gj, 54 years old, for the criminal offense "Providing assistance for illegal border crossing";
