Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has postponed this Thursday the hearing for the review of the security measure against Alma Kaçi.

The 40-year-old woman who was involved in the sexual scandal with the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, is being investigated under "house arrest" for the charge of active corruption, while she is now seeking an "investigation in free state".

In July, Kaçi gave clarifications to Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) about the intimate video where he appeared with the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.

Gjici was arrested on June 24 for passive corruption after allegedly favoring Kaci over a project to shelter and care for stray dogs in the city.

The 40-year-old herself has admitted that she wanted the dog tender from Gjici.

Both have claimed that they had an intimate relationship with each other before talking to the state office about tenders and favors and after they had sexual intercourse.
