Two Persistent Albanian Thieves Arrested in Belgium

The Belgian police have arrested four people for the recent thefts that took place in the Mechelen neighborhoods of Leest and Hombeek. 

Two of the arrested persons were from Albania and were aged 24 and 34. According to the authorities, at the time of their arrest, they were wearing similar clothes. In addition to the two Albanian citizens, the police were able to identify and arrest two other persons aged 47 and 56 from Bulgaria. 

Meanwhile, since the end of the summer holidays and the beginning of the new school year, the police of Mechelen-Willebroek have noticed an increase in the number of thefts in various neighborhoods and sub-municipalities.
