Two US Planes Fly Over Albania to Mark 100 Years of Relations

As the 100th anniversary of relations between Albania and the United States is marked, two American B-52 planes flew over Skanderbeg square, as a demonstration of the excellent cooperation in all fields, but especially that of defence.

Airplanes flew through the friendly skies of Southeast Europe to come towards Albania. The ceremony was enjoyed in the square by the ambassador of the USA, Yuri Kim, children and young people.

"Two U.S. B-52s will conduct low approach flyovers over Tirana today and you are welcome to view the event. Join us at Skanderbeg Square today between at 2:45- 3:00 p.m. and watch this unique opportunity to view the flyover in honor of 100 years of U.S.-Albania diplomatic relations, including our relationship as NATO Allies and partners," the US Embassy said.
