Deputy Interior Minister, Romina Kuko has held Friday a meeting with an American delegation of the Department of Justice. 

Purpose of this meeting was, among other things, to increase further cooperation between the Center Against Violent Extremism, the Ministry of the Interior and ICITAP in the joint fight against violent extremism and terrorism, the Interior Ministry announced. 

"I had the pleasure to host, together with the Director of the Center for Countering Violent Extremism Denion Meidani, the senior delegation of the Department of Justice of the United States of America headed by the Deputy General Director of ICITAP Mr. Arturo Venegas, Assistant Director of ICITAP for Europe and Asia Mr. Stephen Fields, ICITAP Assistant Attached to the Center Against Violent Extremism Mr. William Sage and other representatives from ICITAP, OPDAT and the American Embassy in Tirana.
