The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, actually arrested on corruption charges reacted again against the prosecutor of his case, Ols Dado, saying that he used a not normal language during the session. 

In his social media, Veliaj unveiled part of the debate he had with the prosecutor, during the court session, adding that Dado offended him really badly. 

"This is one of the dialogue made by Dado, calling me 'you are a piece of dirt'. This is the language of a prosecutor of SPAK," reacted Veliaj. 

Veliaj was arrested on February 10 on suspicion of involvement in corrupt activities.

The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organised Crime, SPAK, said Veliaj, as a senior official, is suspected of passive corruption – receiving money or gifts – and of “cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offence or criminal activity” – money-laundering.

His wife, Ajola Xoxa, was also placed under arrest at home, suspected of passive corruption, money-laundering and refusing to declare or falsely declaring wealth.
