One goal was enough for Vllaznia to win the Albanian Cup and bringing in Shkoder the first trophy after 13 years. Thomas Brdaric's team defeated Skënderbeu 1-0 in the final played at "Air Albania".

State authorities decided Monday to allow 1,000 fans into the stadium and the latter rushed to buy tickets and supported their favorite teams closely. 

A fighting and very active match took place in the capital. Mistakes were not absent in the first minutes, but the desire to punish the opponent was. 

Good moments for the team from Shkodra, which found the goal in the 39th minute. The Brazilian Da Silva scored at 43th minute of first half.

The break was good for Skënderbeu, who started the second faction of the meeting better. The Southeasters dared and appeared dangerous with Mara and Taip. Vllaznia took over and started attacking again after the 60th minute. 

Da Silva could score again, but the rush and fatigue took its toll. Mensah had a fantastic chance to equalize in the 68th minute, but the Skënderbeu striker shot badly and the ball ended up outside.

Migen Memelli's team lost their temper and Vangjel Zguro was shown a red card in the 85th minute after a serious and unnecessary foul. Finally 1-0 for Vllaznia, which wins for the seventh time the Albanian Cup and returns a trophy in Shkodra after 13 years.
