This Friday evening, sailing for ferries traveling from Durrës to Bari and vice versa has been suspended. 

The cause is unstable weather, as announced by the Port Authority. The authority also announces that there will be no suspension of navigation to Ancona. 

"As a result of the unstable weather that is expected to cover the Adriatic region, the cruise companies have announced that tonight the ferry cruises from Durrës to Bari (Italy) and vice versa will be suspended. 

According to the forecasts of the maritime authorities, the wind force will go up to 30 m/s, while the waves in the open sea will vary from 7-8 bft. 

We are on full alert to monitor the situation until the weather conditions return to normal. 

Sailings to Ancona will continue as normal," it is stated in the notice.
