Wanted-by-Interpol Dangerous Albanian Arrested in Colombia
One of the most wanted characters of the world of crime in Europe, identified as Deniz Klironomi, known by the nickname "Gucci", who turned out to be part of the "Los Pachenca" group, which deals in drug, immigrant and arms trafficking, has been arrested in Colombia.
Since the end of 2020, Dijin Police investigators received information about Denis Klironomi alias "Gucci", a notorious frog trafficker on the northern coast of Colombia, allegedly from the Republic of Kosovo.
"Gucci" with a red signal from Interpol, was one of the most wanted in Europe", said Colonel Olga Salazar, director of Dijin Police.
A special group of investigators started following him, but every time they approached him, he disappeared because "he changed his place of residence every month. It was like that for about 7 months until we got to an apartment in Barranquilla,” revealed a Dijin Police investigator.
For a week, the Albanian with the nickname "Gucci" did not even go out the window, until they finally managed to look at him and a tattoo on his left arm made it possible to identify him.
But when he was captured, according to Dijín investigators, he told the blue uniforms “that something could happen to the people who used force to extradite him, as a threat. In addition, he has spoken to people in Romania and Albania, where he has said that he paid money so that they would not extradite him."
Colonel Salazar informed that "Gucci" is accused of being a financial partner of the criminal group "Los Pachenca", which commits crimes on the northern coast of Colombia.
Meanwhile, Klironomi is being held in a high-security prison in Bogota, while the procedures for his extradition have been completed.
