Jorgo alias Olsi Leka is extradited from Greece, accused of the execution of Nezir and Gentian Beqiri, father and son, in Elbasan, a murder committed within the framework of a structured criminal group in 2012.

From the preliminary data, it is known that, Interpol Tirana in cooperation with the Greek counterparts, for locating, capturing and arresting the citizens announced as wanted internationally, with the aim of extraditing and placing them before justice, has arrested Jorgo Leku alias Olsi Leka alias Giorgio Leku in Athens.

The 44-year-old was arrested after the GJKKO (Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime) issued the security measure "Arrest in prison" against him, for the criminal offenses "Murder in other qualifying circumstances against two or more persons" committed in cooperation, "Production and illegal possession of combat weapons and of ammunition", "Structured criminal group", "Participation in a structured criminal group" and "Committing crimes within the framework of a structured criminal group".

In 2012, the 44-year-old, in collaboration with several other people, shot and killed the citizen Nezir Beqiri and his son Aridan Meta alias Gentian Beqiri.

Jorgo Leku is part of the Çapja group, and for this very reason he killed father and son in Elbasan. The event took place in the "Liberation" neighborhood, while Gentian Beqiri was under the security measure "House Arrest".

Everything started after the murder of Sokol Çapja in Elbasan, on December 26, 2005. Gentian Beqiri together with his father were suspected as the perpetrators of the murder of Sokol Çapja.

On December 26, 2005, in a bar near the University of Elbasan, three people shot at Sokol Çapja. The perpetrators, after entering the bar, asked the customers to lie down while they approached Sokol Çapja and wounded him, who later died in the hospital. Suspects for this crime, the police arrested Armand Hasani, the brother-in-law of Fadil Mema, Dritan Shema, as well as Gentian Beqiri, also known as Ardian Meta.

The murder of Gentian Beqir and his father, Nezir, happened in 2012. The latter was also known as one of Fadil Mema's close friends. For this crime, the police arrested Arben Jaçen and Florenc Çapjen, while Jorgo Leka was declared an international wanted man - extradited today to Tirana. Even in this case, as in the case of Rexhepi, the persons were released due to lack of evidence.

Jaçe claimed that everything was staged without any evidence against him. While Bardhi stated in his testimony that together with Leku they shot Gentian Beqiri. Then Jorgo Leku also shot his father, Nezir. The murder was carried out with strong objects such as physical violence and suffocation with a pillow.
