The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has fined the mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, 100.000 ALL, because she used the premises of a school in the city for the electoral campaign. 

The measure taken against the mayor came as a result of the report made earlier by the "Civic Resistance". The director of the "Armath" school, citizen Vlash Doda, was also fined with 50 thousand ALL.

The Commissioner also announced the decision for the administrative review of the denunciation of the "Civic Center Organization", for violation provided in decision no. 9, dated 24.12.2020 of the Regulatory Commission in the Central Election Commission, to the Director of the 9-Year School "Armath" and the candidate for mayor in the municipality of Durrës, Mrs. Emiriana Sako, proposed by the electoral subject "Socialist Party of Albania". 

The Commissioner imposed an administrative sanction with a fine on the Director of the 9-Year School "Armath" Mr. Vlash Doda in the amount of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL and the administrative sanction with a fine against the candidate for mayor in the municipality of Durrës, proposed by the electoral subject "Socialist Party of Albania", Mrs. Emiriana Sako in the amount of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) ALL.
